Martin's theme was a trip to India. Bob chose this one, a close-up of birds intertwined with twigs. The background sky set the picture off.

Martin was pleased with his wild elephant on the ridge.

Athol was pleased with his Fritillaria - he thought it had a mysterious feel. There was no background clutter.

Sonia chose his two dogs, apparently in conversation. She liked the composition, the two heads close together and the muted colours of white and grey.

Athol liked Joe's long outdoor restaurant, with the tables going into the distance and the crumbling walls.

Joe had chosen to turn this powerful building to black and white which he thought set it off.

Joyce was pleased with the reflections in her picture of the steel sculpture of the King Kong Rhinoceros by Li-Jen Shih in Bassano del Grappa, Italy.

Sue liked Joyce's otter seen in the Water of Leith at Saughton Gardens. She liked the colours and the circles.
