This topic gave everyone a challenge - not the eastiest of topics. However, as ever the photographers rose to the challenge and here is a sample of our efforts. Wednesday group first.

Fiona chose Alex's shelter ready for use, with his brightly coloured umbrellas in a muted surrounding. Alex had reduced all but the red / orange colours in his shot.
Alex himself was pleased with his shot of the shelter over Waverley station taken from the unusual angle of Waverley Market roof

Alex chose Anne's classic harbour picture, with the water making an S shape
Anne liked the lines in her picture of a lighthouse

Bob T liked Bob D's picture of newts sheltering under the water, with its framework of stalks above.
He also liked the squirrel's under cover dining table.

Fiona was pleased with her shelter under trees.
Sonia chose this green shelter surrounded with greenery and with pleasing coloured plants in the foreground.

Martin thought this was a nice shot from Les. The shelter was for the bin, but it is an attractive picture enhanced by the overhanging flower.
