Martin gave us a travelogue of Japan. He chose this picture taken in the Japanese Alps, and shot at an unusual angle.

Bob was taken with this picture of a group receiving instruction in a Japanese craft. He liked the different ways in which the girls were or were not interacting with each other. He felt it raised lots of questions.

Morag chose her own picture of a dog under a counter. The colours went together so well she felt the dog must have been posed. She added her own frame in toning colours.

Marjorie chose this picture of an open window, framed with leaves. Again she felt it raised questions - is someone about to appear?

Both Les and his reviewer Fiona chose Les's picture of a tree stump. Les liked the colours. Fiona said the tree stump dominated thepicture and the light coming in from the right took your eye across the image.

Unanimity again between Neil and Gillian, both choosing this picture taken in Namibia. Neil liked the detail in the mountain and the way the dryness and heat came across. Gillian liked the depth of field and the vast scale of the area contrasting with the small group by the vehicle.
